Online GED Test

General Educational development test commonly known as the GED tests is a group of five subject test which certifies that the successful test takers’ academic proficiency is of high school level.  The GED exam is developed and administered by the ACE. The main aim of the GED test is to provide education to people who have not been able to get their formal high school certificate due to personal reasons.

The five subjects that are included in the GED are: Language Arts (Reading), Language Arts (Writing), Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. The GED test questions are designed to assess the knowledge that a student would have gathered during four years in high school.

There are some laid down criteria for candidates attempting to appear for the GED test. For a candidate to be eligible to appear in GED test, the test taker should be of 16 years and above. But many states require the candidate to be at least 18 years of age .The test taker should have the skills to read, write and compute. Before appearing for the main exam, the candidate needs to clear the GED pre test. Online GED test is not available, so, the candidate should be present at the test center.  It is important to note that the GED exam cannot be taken online.
