English Prepositions

In simple terms, English prepositions are words that show the relationship between nouns. It explains the location, space and time in a sentence. English prepositions are used to indicate locations in the physical world. They link elements of a sentence together. They play a very important part in the English language.

We have about 150 prepositions in English. In English we have three types of prepositions: Time prepositions, place prepositions, and direction prepositions.
